One of the most beloved and anticipated community events on
the California Central Coast is here again! The New Dawn Montessori
School presents its 17th Annual Garden Tour & Extravaganza. During
this two day event, in partnership with the Cambria Nursery &
Florist, you will begin your weekend retreat exploring the Nursery's
Garden Fair on Saturday, May 15th featuring free garden demonstrations,
food, music and prize drawings. And then on Sunday, May 16th it’s time
for the Original Cambria Garden Tour, touted as one of the best in
California. Spend a wonderful and relaxing day meandering through the
unique & exquisite private gardens we have selected this year. At
each garden you’re invited to savor a variety of culinary creations,
compliments of some of the area’s finest restaurants. Adding another
level of sensory delight to the day, you’ll be able to enjoy several
talented local musicians and artists at each garden. Whether you’re an
avid gardener, a budding gardener, or just along to enjoy the scenery,
we hope these amazing gardens bring you inspiration and joy.
About the New Dawn School
Your deeply
appreciated donations and raffle ticket purchases provide the New Dawn
Montessori School important funds for the continuing operation of the
school, assuring the availability of quality early childhood education
for the children of Cambria. New Dawn is a Montessori-based school
integrating the arts and sciences for kindergarten and preschool
children. This creative learning center was founded in 1985 by Sonya
Lanzen-Castellanos and was designed to help children build a strong
foundation of self-worth and social skills while igniting their passion
for learning. The New Dawn Center is a non-profit organization. For
